Our heart has much worldly luggage
That often we dont see..
Will we remain forever shackled
Or search for our destiny ?
Jesus told us travel light
When do we even try..
To open our baggage and give up all the reasons why !
We don’t need garments of stress, pain or sorrow.
Is God not our healer and restorer of a new tomorrow?
His word gives us wisdom
We told to guard our heart
This requirement we should exercise ,daily from the start.
On these unknown roads we travel
We need to pack Your word
Declare biblical promises
We have already heard.
This journey of life needs
An increased measure of love
Be humble and grateful
accepting His grace from above!
Gentleness, peace and kindness
These are what we should wear..
Forgiveness freely used
To show how much we care ..
A heart filled with Your love
should be the greatest tool
Not burdened, heavy luggage that’s fitting for a fool!
