We all have something we treasure in our lives. Maybe a special item, a good memory, or a time in our lives we often refer back to in conversation.
Lord God, you know where lies my treasure
Only You God of my life can measure..
To seek Your Kingdom is all You requireNot worldly possessions to consume or desireThose who steal or kill aren’t the ones to fear
But God Himself as our own end draws near….The years of sacrifice, the pain the cost
Will it all be worth it in what you have lost?What you’ve earned and prepared
Will it be plundered or shared?You drink you eat and store up in years
Only to have God’s salvation tear down your fears!
So acknowledge Jesus the Son of man
Do this small act in humbleness while you still can.
